An important, if not the most important argument for a square silo is the higher storage capacity compared to a round silo. On the same surface over 27% more product can be stored. Simply by fully making use of the available ground surface.
Flexibility
Our square silos are characterized by a modular construction and can therefore be easily implemented in one silo block with variable cell dimensions and cell divisions. This makes it possible to simultaneously store a range of products and qualities in different volumes next to each other. This ensures maximum storage flexibility on a minimal surface. Square silos are built exactly around the production facilities and are therefore easy to integrate into a factory. The process is always leading and the tailor-made silos are adapted accordingly.
Sustainable
Square silos can be a constructive part of the building. No separate building or hall has to be built around. Machine houses with related floorings, stairs and cladding can directly be connected with the silo in order to save valuable space and materials. Besides square silos are a sustainable solution. At TSC all silo parts are made of steel; a strong material that is on top of that fully recyclable. The individual components of the silo system are being transported very efficiently in a trailer or container and built up on site quickly.
