Morse Watchmans’ KeyWatcher® Touch is the latest innovation in scalable key control and management. Its easy to use, time-saving features make it ideal for use in various industries, including manufacturing, gaming, municipal, education, hospitality, retail and many more. KeyWatcher Touch’s patented SmartKey system ensures keys can only be removed by authorized individuals. Credentials can be validated through PIN, biometrics, or integrated with an existing access control system.
KeyWatcher features include KeyAnywhere, KeyFind and My Keys Out.
- KeyAnywhere enables the return of a key to any KeyWatcher in the enterprise, making it possible for large organizations to keep track of keys as they are used across the entire facility or campus.
- KeyFind works with KeyAnywhere to make it simple for users to locate which KeyWatcher a specific key is in or determine who has taken it out. This makes it easy to retrieve keys from KeyWatcher cabinets and inventory key usage, in addition to enabling management or security to keep a complete record of when keys are used, where, and by who.
- My Keys Out allows users to see which keys they have out, if any of their keys are overdue and when their keys will become overdue. With this feature, it is much less likely that keys are forgotten and makes it simple for users who utilize many keys to keep track of their key usage.
KeyWatcher also features useful management tools to ensure that administrators and managers are kept in the know. Detailed reports can be scheduled and sent via email or stored for later use or official auditing. Notifications can easily be set up to send users an SMS text or email when specified criteria are met.
In addition, KeyWatcher Touch is now integrated with AMAG Technology’s Symmetry V8.0.2 Access Control System. The integration allows users to provide temporary or permanent access to KeyWatcher Touch assets to card holders from within the Symmetry system. The updated system also integrates fully with access control solutions from Lenel, Software House, and others to make providing access across systems simple, with only limited retraining needed.
New features of KeyWatcher have updated key control for the needs of modern users. A range of module types available on the KeyWatcher system gives users the ability to configure systems according to their requirements and budget. The KeyWatcher Touch now includes a status bar on the touchscreen display that walks users through procedures and shows what is happening within the key management system as they are using it. Available voice prompts provide guidance for new users and help ensure proper key retrieval/return protocols are followed. The new “Key Filter” feature gives users who have access to a large number of keys the ability to input search terms and have the KeyWatcher Touch system narrow down the list of keys presented to the user.
With KeyWatcher Touch, simple, secure, modular key control for your business is easier than ever.
