All our products are designed for an African market and are constructed in South Africa. Southern Elements designs all of its products to take on the unique challenges that working in Africa can face. We always think about the harsh environments and the security concerns that the equipment needs to withstand so our products can meet such demands.
Currently Southern Elements has a solar light tower available in the market. Our light tower is almost certainly the most technologically advanced product of its type in the market globally. Not only does our product produce 44,000 lumens of light for nighttime operation, and have full charging capacity during the day. It also has 3G data connectivity that can supply a cloud database with solar charge information, battery status, GPS location, weather information. The possibility to convert the tower into a mobile CCTV rig is also available.
Our base model comes with 9,600 Wh of battery capacity and is capable of storing 28,800 Wh, if required by our clients. That translates to 2 nights of operation without seeing a daytime charge or on our highest spec model 6 nights of operation without any charge time. Most clients will only need a base model config but flexibility is a key part of our business.
