IT IS OFFICIAL. The Solenco Comefresh CF8500 and CF8608 Air Purifiers are the first air purifiers in South Africa to boas the Seal of Approval awarded by the Allergy Foundation of South Africa ( AFSA).
Other products in the Solenco South Africa stable that received the thumbs up from AFSA include the Meaco 12L and 20L Low Energy Dehumidifiers with Air Purification mode and the Meaco Airvax Air Purifier. These products are the first of its kind in South Africa to have received this AFSA Seal of Approval.
According to AFSA, products that carry this Seal of Approval have shown “to be efficient at significantly reducing allergens and chemical content from the environment in accordance with the AFSA Certification Requirements either by verifiable proof of such testing being supplied to AFSA or scientific testing being performed by AFSA and to which the AFSA has lawfully issued a Certificate of Approval”.

SOLENCO CF8500 AIR PURIFIER
The Solenco CF8500 Air Purifier system offers extremely high air filtration efficiency capturing up to 99.97% of particles including allergens, pollen, dust, smoke and pet dander.
This is done by means of an advanced 5 stage purification system, that includes a Pre-filter ( that removes the large airborne particles), a true HEPA filter ( that removes particles from the air as small as 0.3 micron smaller than the eye can see), a Carbon filter (that removes smells and odours), a UV-C Light and PCO ( that kills germs, viruses and bacteria).
With its ability to capture and destroy bacteria and viruses, the Solenco CF8500 Air Purifier comes highly recommended to protect public facilities, doctor’s rooms and hospital rooms for patients. It further reduces VOCs, toxic fumes and foul odours.

This is done by means by a five stage purification system, which includes a Pre-filter, True HEPA filter, Carbon filter, Ionizer, UVC Lamp and PCO.
With its ability to capture and destroy bacteria and viruses the Solenco CF8608 Air Purifier results in a 99% reduction in E.Coli, P. Cintrinum and A. Niger. This unit therefore comes highly recommended for use in public facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, day care centre, hair, nail and beauty salons and the hospitality industry.
It further reduces VOCs, toxic fumes and foul odours.
The Solenco CF8608 Air Purifier is extremely quiet (less than 30 dB on low speed and less than 60 dB on turbo speed) and can treat the air of spaces of up to 50m2.
This air purifier boasts a dust sensor to indicate the indoor air quality and by means of an auto-function further automatically adjusts the fan speed accordingly.
Key features include: Feather touch controls, energy efficiency (only 70watts!), remote control for better use, four speed settings and a timer with three settings.
